About me
Christine Carr is the school librarian at Highland School in Midland Park, bringing over 22 years of library and teaching experience to her role. She is a member of the New Jersey Association of School Librarians (NJASL) and the Bergen/Passaic Association of School Librarians (BPASL). Christine manages a collection of over 14,000 books and teaches weekly library lessons, on a fixed schedule, to students in grades K-5.
Named the 2023 Teacher of the Year at Highland School, she combined her passion for innovation and education by starting a 3D printing hobby at home with her son. This interest inspired her to secure a grant from the local education foundation, which allowed her to establish a 3D printing program in the school library.
