The Internet and almost every app/gaming app has made it easy for traffickers to hide their identity, connect directly with victims and build a relationship that may lead to a meet-up, coerce victims into sharing explicit images, etc. Since the pandemic online trafficking has increased 200%. Education is one of the most effective tools in the prevention of human trafficking. Attendees will be empowered with information about human trafficking, red flag indicators, grooming techniques from a NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking member (retired teacher) and a survivor of human trafficking.
