The Internet and almost every app/gaming app has made it easy for traffickers to hide their identity, connect directly with victims and build a relationship that may lead to a meet-up, coerce victims into sharing explicit images, etc. Since the pandemic online trafficking has increased 200%. Education is one of the most effective tools in the prevention of human trafficking. Attendees will be empowered with information about human trafficking, red flag indicators, grooming techniques from a NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking member (retired teacher) and a survivor of human trafficking. Students will develop an understanding of scientific concepts using facts, theories, principles, and models. New mathematical concepts are proven to estimate the radius of the earth of objects that are impossible manually to measure.

The audience will watch the experiment, analyze data and learn how to apply it in their classroom. The final target of this presentation is to simplify the use of trigonometric functions for students.
