About me
Steve Martinez is a former social science teacher with a fervor for Edtech, which allows him to leverage technology in transformative ways. He has presented on various topics, including Project-based Learning, Design Thinking, Digital Notebooking/Blended Learning, and Flipped Classroom. In 2022, Steve was the Emerging Teacher of the Year at Spring CUE. Additionally, he is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, a former Kami Hero, and is currently a Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Kami. When not working at Kami, Steve used his passion for teaching at the university and adult education levels and is the podcast host of Under the Hat Podcast.
