2025 NJECC Annual New Jersey Educational Technology Conference

Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Presentations (Day 1)

Keynote: Our Keynote this year is Susan Maynor, an Apple Distinguished Educator. Learn more about Susan in her own words:


Hi, I’m Susan Maynor, learning experience designer, visual storyteller, and believer in all things creative in education. I believe in the innate creativity in every person and am continually inspired by seeing others grow, especially when they realize their creative genius. With 25 years in K-12 public, independent, and charter schools, I have served as a teacher, mentor, coach, and learning experience designer developing project-based, blended, and personalized learning programs and classes for schools. With a B.A. in Education, an M.A. in Digital Communications, and a Missouri K-12 gifted certification, I've helped school leaders and educators design unique visions, ignite original thinking, and transform teaching and learning. I currently serve as learning experience designer for EPiC Elementary, a K-5 project-based, 1:1 iPad learning environment in Liberty Public Schools, since its inception. Additionally, I have co-authored several multi-touch books, developed educational content for local non-profits, and worked with schools on continuous innovation journeys. Most of all, I love to work closely with teachers and students to design authentic learning experiences to engage the mind, nurture the heart, and inspire the soul.

Join us for more than 60 presentations featuring educational professionals in K-12 schools and universities. This year we will have sessions for Library Media Specialists, Tech Coaches, STEM Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and IT Professionals as well as general sessions for all. All presentations are listed in the Schedule tab. You are free to choose from any of the sessions when you register for Tuesday, March 11, 2025. The fee for Tuesday is $120 for NJECC members and $135 for non-members. There will be a late fee of $25.00 after March 4, 2025. Cancellations after March 4, 2025, will incur a fee of $50.00. 

There is a discount for two days. The NJECC Member's two-day price is $195.00.
The Non-member two-day price is $225.00.


Schedule for Tuesday:

8:30 AM Opening SessionWelcome and Keynote Address
10:00 AM -10:45 AM - Session 1
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM - Session 2
Lunch is served from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm.
11:45 AM - 12:30 PM - BREAK
12:30 PM - 1:15 PM - Session 3
1:30 PM - 2:15 PM - Session 4
2:30 PM - 3:15 PM - IGNITE SESSION (Fun and Prizes)


What to do at lunch?

  • Lunch will open at 11:00 AM - 1:15 PM - Buffet will be in front of 1070, in the Commons of the ADP Center and in Addie’s Lounge - Box Lunches will be at the Information Desk. 

  • Grab your lunch and head into a session (Session 2 at 11:00 AM or Session 3 at 12:30 PM)

  • Sit and relax in the ADP Center or lecture halls 1060, 1050, and 1070 for lunch.

  • Come meet up informally with colleagues during LUNCH time.  | Special Education Teachers ADP 1143 at 11:50 pm -  IT Professionals in ADP 1145 at 11:50 pm - Classroom Educators, Library Media Specialists and Tech Coaches in LH1040 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

  • Visit our Vendors in the main exhibition halls or the student lounge areas. Collect your dots!!


Exhibition Area: 
Come visit our exhibition area on the main floor of University Hall to view displays and demonstrations from vendors featuring the latest in educational technology products and services.

TUESDAY IGNITE SESSION: Please visit our vendors in the exhibition area in the 1st-floor hallway of University Hall. Prize “dots” will be given out by the vendors. You can fill up your prize card with the dots for a chance to win some great prizes at this last session of the day. We will also have fast-paced presentations for you to enjoy!
